140 km - A Circular Route Through the Heart of Niagara

Whether you’re up for the full ride or pick parts to explore, each section of the Greater Niagara Circle Route immerses you in the great experiences, culture, and communities of Niagara, Canada.

The Greater Niagara Circle Route is over 140 km of mostly off-road paved trails passing through urban centres, agricultural areas, and the Niagara Escarpment.  The paved trail is mostly three metres wide and consists of the following trails:  Welland Canal Parkway Trail, Fort Erie Friendship Trail, Niagara River Recreation Trail, Waterfront Trail, and Merritt Island Trail.
