The Niagara River’s Whirlpool Rapids are one of the world’s wildest stretches of whitewater, reaching an extremely dangerous Class 6 classification, the world’s highest.
This is your chance to experience them up close.
After a quick elevator ride, the White Water Walk begins with a boardwalk stretching more than 300 metres along the edge of the roiling waters.
As you make your way from observation deck to observation deck, you’ll enjoy amazing views of the rock layers of the Niagara Gorge – beautiful geological formations that date back 410 million years. Keep an eye out – and a camera handy – for the many different plants and animals native to the area of Niagara Falls.
